The team captained by Miguel Lorenzo Álvarez Alonso won the third place in the regional children's championship last season but this year, when Yvan Trigo, David Verdú, Marcos Serrano, Antonio Javier Ruiz, Adrián Pardo, Antonio Moreno, Ismael Herrero, Juan Carlos García, Juan José Carrasco and Álvaro Cárceles have become regional champions after defeating three strong rivals in the playoffs: Playas de Cartagena, Murcia Norte and IES.
Diego Tortosa Voleadores (Cieza), the latter after a long career of eight years as undefeated and champion of the category.
Miguel Lorenzo explained that "our next objective will be to compete in the Spanish Championship that will be held between May 16 and 20 in the Galician town of Boiro as champions of the Region of Murcia" For his part, Anastasio Bastida encouraged them to continue fighting but "without forgetting the studies", in this sense I explain the importance of combining both.
The next month of May will be measured with the 23 best children's teams in Spain.
