The Department of Culture has celebrated the World Book Day, with a very original initiative to exchange books with which it is intended to encourage reading.
The event was held at the Municipal Library during the morning and at City Hall throughout the afternoon.
Participants have exchanged books that have marked a before and after in their lives, special books that wrapped in wrapping paper and accompanied by a dedication have been exchanged throughout the day in an activity they have dubbed as "My Invisible Literary Friend" .
In addition, the presentation of the novel "Buscando la realidad" by Michel Gallego Guillén has been carried out, in which the author narrates nineteen stories in which any resemblance to fantasy is pure reality.
Children have also been able to celebrate Book Day with children's workshops and storytelling.
Throughout the week will follow the activities framed within the month of the book ending on May 5.
