Sea International University will be held this summer at the home of the Alcazar courses "Practical aspects of exercise in the elderly" and "rehabilitative care aimed at protecting the child and family prevention and intervention" during the months June and September respectively.
The mayor, Anastasio Bastida, presented the university program in the city accompanied by the Vice Chancellor for Strategic Development and Training at the University of Murcia, Fernando Martin Rubio, the director of the International University of Mar, Manuela Lopez Tenes, Colonel of the Academy Air Force General, Juan Antonio Ortega Vásquez and directors of the courses.
The mayor stressed the importance of promoting university course offerings beyond those conducted during the summer months and said that "we will put all the necessary mechanisms to strengthen existing agreements with the University of Murcia to enable it make more courses in Los Alcazares. "
The municipality is the permanent headquarters of the University of Murcia for eleven years and is part of the 21 partner towns in the region.
"Tourism is a major attraction academic Los Alcazares, the course participants not only receive training, but coexist and integrate with alcazareño special way," declared the director of the Interna-tional University of Mar, Manuela Lopez Tenes .
The High Performance Centre "Infanta Cristina" will host the completion of the course "Practical aspects of exercise in old age" of 27 to 29 June with a total of 20 hours.
It is offered for 100 seats of which are already registered 60.
Interested participants can register until the same Monday 27 through the web www.um.es / united.
It costs 65 euros and is focused on a theoretical and practical guidelines aimed at establishing the best physical exercise in the elderly.
The second course, "Attention socio aimed at protecting the child and family prevention and intervention" will focus on publicizing how the system is organized to protect children in our region and by extension the national level.
Los Alcazares is the only venue that teaches a course on this theme and it pioneered four years ago when we were considering a first course in the care of children in situations of vulnerability.
Will be held from 19 to 23 September, with a duration of 30 hours and a price of 95 euros.
The initial positions are 60, but if demand requires it may be extended to the full capacity of the room.
Will be conducted in the premises of the former air base in the municipality.
