4100 euros have been seized in 50 notes allegedly counterfeit euros
The Guardia Civil has proceeded to arrest a person on suspicion of a crime of counterfeiting currency, after being caught while driving a vehicle in which were found a total of 4,100 euros in counterfeit bills.
The action is framed within the plan of prevention of safety that has enabled the Civil Guard in the region.
Civil Guard officers, in the early hours of Monday, day 07, established a prevention device safety in Los Alcazares for verification and identification of vehicles and people respectively.
The civil guards detected a vehicle traveling without lights in the vicinity of the device, so that made his arrest and identification.
Upon inspection of the vehicle is detected enabled a double bottom containing large amount of cash.
After performing the checks, were noticed inside the double bottom was 4100 euros allegedly counterfeit, so we proceeded to the seizure and detention of the person for an offense of counterfeiting.
Arrested:
This device has proceeded to arrest a person on suspicion of a crime of counterfeiting currency, identified as:
- Moroccan 34-year resident of Los Alcazares.
Seized:
Enabled in the false bottom inside the vehicle, the Civil Guard has seized 4,100 euros in bills of 50 euros allegedly counterfeit.
The detainee, the seized property and instructed the police inquiries have been made available to the Court of Instruction No. 2 of San Javier (Murcia).
