The Socialist Municipal spokesperson of Los Alcazares, Joaquín Menárguez, explained that it has simultaneously submitted a motion in the City, and another in the Regional Assembly, the latter through the Deputy Teresa Rosillo-, for an extension of time Health Center said population, and provide better service to its inhabitants.
The time in which is open Health Center 08.00 Los Alcazares to 15:00 from Monday to Friday, for a population of 17,000 rising to 60,000 during the summer months.
Outside these hours, users (many of them elderly) should move to the Health Center of San Javier for medical or ATS.
The PSOE wants to extend the opening hours on weekdays until 12 pm, and is open Saturday and Sunday 08.00 am to 15:00.
The social responsibility stressed the fact that currently remains closed Health Center every afternoon is also a health issue, a negative factor for tourism, which is the main hub of economic and social development of the municipality.
Menárguez noted that for more than ten years, when the municipal government was the PSOE, was open the Health Center in the evenings until 9 pm, and "Community were claiming an extension of time, without results" .
It turned out, however, that when the PP came to power city, instead of extending hours, it fell in six hours each afternoon.
