The Governing Council has approved a grant for a total of 51,876 euros to the municipalities of San Javier, Cartagena and Los Alcazares to improve care of emergencies at sea.
The grants are guaranteed the availability of human and material resources for rescue and rescue at sea, which allow to establish the operational structure and deployment of surveillance and rescue.
The purpose is to safeguard human life at sea and prevent foreseeable damage to people and property.
Thus, the regional reinforces the device to perform actions on maritime rescue in 2013, under the Civil Protection Plan for Surveillance and Rescue Beaches and Rescue at Sea Region of Murcia (Plan couplet).
The three municipalities will have a salvage vessel, equipped with a crew ready and the equipment necessary to develop salvage on the coast of La Manga del Mar Menor.
