Socialist spokesman on the City of Los Alcazares, Joaquín Menárguez, announced that his party has proposed to the government team PP 19 urgent measures to restore fiscal stability, and do not have to be suppressed as Civil Protection skills or social services, or raise fees and taxes, or go to an organizational streamlining that can affect the elimination of jobs or have to merge with another adjacent municipality, "to which the City Council would be required as a result of breach of Budgetary Stability Plan."
Menárguez explained that, if the measures proposed by the PSOE apply more than 3.5 million would be saved, and get "not having to touch a job, or having to lose a municipal service."
The measures proposed by the Socialists go through to cancel all concerts are scheduled for the summer, freeze investments for this year as the remodeling of City Hall Square, the construction of a new pier, or remodeling the auditorium of the rocks huertanas.
In addition, the rewards given to municipal workers would be removed, the productivities delivered to them would be streamlined, the positions of trust and service fees would eliminate, or reduce to 30% the salaries of members of the Corporation, among other measures.
The Socialist Party of Los Alcazares has called an extraordinary plenary session to consider "any measure to intervention of the City that is immediately applicable and must be supervised by the CARM."
"The people of Los Alcazares has been fighting for many years to have their own council, it is not acceptable that we see now doomed to merge with another town," he concluded.
