The Councillor for Social Policy, Francisco Mendez, attended the closing ceremony in CISSMU (Integral Center of Social and Women) and took the opportunity to congratulate the students who have had the opportunity to meet and get started in the profession of shoemaker .
The Abraham Project provides comprehensive support to immigrant children and people at risk or social exclusion.
Since 1997, the Association acts Abraham Project in the Region of Murcia with the main objective, social and environmental action.
Since its inception caters to all those people whose immigration status, alcoholics, homeless, unemployed, etc., suffer serious problems of exclusion and lack of economic, personal and social resources necessary to meet their daily lives.
The shoe repair shop has lasted 40 hours, from 8 to 23 May, in which the students have known the characteristics, development and use of adhesive materials, repaired and replaced parts, in addition to treating and caring footwear, change pads and heels, repair handbags, belts and wallets.
