Los Alcazares (Murcia) will be on 19 and 20 July the headquarters of a new festival of alternative entertainment, Summer Freak, the first edition of "Hall of Alternative Culture" which will be held at the sports center of the town.
Alternative Culture encompasses the most common arts and less conventional activities such as manga, comic books, TV series and internet, and the role of non-traditional table games, of all ages, which every year become something and natural.
What can you do in this first Summer Freak?
You can find thousands of young people to share with hundreds of activities ranging from card games, introduction to RPGs, video game tournaments, competitions, workshops and more.
You will also have the opportunity to participate in the Arena Cup, a competition of "jugger" (alternative sport, in which a team of five people fighting other with "weapons" padded, and wins getting scoring the "jugg" -sort of ball-in the enemy camp).
Each unit is characterized by its uniform made for themselves.
Among the most striking events will be the contest "Cosplay" fashion representative of the fans of this type of entertainment, and stitched each representing characters from comics, manga or video games.
The First Summer Freak will also have exhibitions and talks by experts and cartoonists like Marvel, TV series Doctor Whoo science fiction like Star Wars.
At night, the First Summer Freak will devote a special session devoted to the RPG "Vampire: The Masquerade" which revives the existence of vampires in a neo-gothic world, bringing Los Alcazares will become a gateway for young performing the legendary World of Darkness.
Everyone who comes to Los Alcazares will have a camp where his tent tent for two days, surrounded by mysteries, games, warmth and the Mar Menor.
