This morning the Minister of Industry, Energy and Tourism, José Manuel Soria has delivered the flags 'Q Quality Tourism' to the beaches and nautical sports facilities in Los Alcazares with Secretary of State for Tourism, Isabel Borrego.

The Councillor for Tourism, Maite Olmos, has moved to the capital to pick Soria from the Minister and Secretary of State for Tourism 6 'Q for Quality Tourism' from the beaches of Los Alcazares, The six beaches with this recognition are Carrión beach, La Concha, Manzanares, The Mirror, The Narejos and Las Palmeras.

For a suitable beach Quality Q, must have excellent facilities and clean sands, where safety measures are met, access is facilitated and the environment is respected, quality brand Q is given by the Institute for Quality Spanish Tourism (ICTE).

This audit checks on water quality, security, surveillance, sand quality and entertainment all elements are performed.

Finally, Maite Olmos stressed that "it is a great achievement and satisfaction for our town that all our beaches hold this distinction" while encouraged everyone to visit the town of Los Alcazares and know the wonderful beaches and enjoy gastronomy of the Mar Menor.
