The mayor of Los Alcazares, Anastasio Bastida and first deputy mayor, Maite Olmos, visit the mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, to inform the municipality that are guest of the International Week of the Garden and the Sea in this edition XLIII.
Lorca Los Alcazares and will join this coming August XLIII Week in the Garden and the Sea, Sun City is the town guest at this year's festival of cultural and regional dances.
Each year the festival chooses huertano a municipality as a guest this year will Lorca, who for several days will present its tradition and best of the people in a booth where thousands of people pass.
Twinning was held on Saturday August 16th, at once both mayors exchanged the benefits of Lorca and Los Alcazares.
The night of the municipality invited coincide with the official opening of the XIII Craft Fair of the Region of Murcia and huertanas ventorrillos or rocks, in the auditorium of Park Huertanas Peñas.
Lorca known as 'Sun City' and processions of Holy Week, declared of international tourist interest parties, reflected as the mayor of Los Alcazares, Anastasio Bastida, "the union of minds of a whole people, after the tragedy of the earthquake on 11 May 2011. "
Finally, the first deputy mayor, Maite Olmos, stressed that "from the outset of what happened the alcazareño were and are with the people of Lorca, it is therefore important for us and for them to have their essence in the XLIII International Week of the Garden and the Sea. "
