Manuel Claver, president of the Central Union of Irrigation Tajo Segura, will be in charge of officiating the XLIII International Week proclamation of the Garden and the Sea, from 14 to 23 this coming August.
On 16th August at the Park Auditorium Huertanas Peñas, around 22:30 hours the preacher will be accompanied by the mayor of Los Alcazares, Anastasio Bastida, who after the reading of the proclamation shall inaugurate the XLIII International Week of the Garden and the Sea
José Manuel Claver was born in Cartagena and graduated in law from the University of Granada, and in 79 he was appointed secretary and legal advisor to the Community Irrigation Field Cartagena.
The appointment coincided with the arrival of water from the Tajo-Segura.
Claver is also a founding member of the Central Union of Irrigation Tajo Segura, besides belonging to the Governing Board since the founding of this organization in 1982. In 1984 he was elected as Secretary General and Legal Counsel of that Union Central Irrigation .
