Thursday was held in Los Alcazares the International Day of Disabled Persons, in order to remember the daily difficulties facing this group.
The Town Hall Square has hosted various events that have been scheduled to commemorate this day.
The morning began with the words of defender of the Disabled, Vicente Sanchidrián, who encouraged everyone to continue working and fighting.
Behind him, spoke the mayor of Los Alcazares, Anastasio Bastida, who commented that "we must work for accessibility, non-discrimination, equality of opportunity and the eradication of violence attitudes towards disabled".
Also, is committed to the coordination between the various councils to advance the Los Alcazares town accessible project.
After the opening, the president of the Association of People with Disabilities, Rosa Lorca, Maribel Castillo has given a plaque as a token of appreciation, having accepted to be the godmother of the Association.
The artist has been commissioned to put his rhythm in the morning art by providing a wide repertoire of songs.
The day ended with a monologue by comedian "Roper" and a large chocolate.
