The Patchwork group of Municipal Center Las Claras del Mar Menor today presented a check for € 750 to the Spanish Association Against Cancer Los Alcazares.
The donation has been given comes from the collection of Patchwork, English and Spanish women residing in the municipality group and meet regularly to perform manual labor as blankets, mats or cushions among many other items.
This group of women held every Christmas a lottery where the different crafts that they themselves create the Patchwork workshop raffle.
This year the funds raised was 750 € and once again, have donated to the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) in the municipality.
The ceremony was attended by the Councillor for Health, Cristina Sanchez and Councilwoman New Technologies, Gloria Adam, who accompanied the president of AECC Los Alcazares during the check presentation.
