The Councillor for Sports, Francisco Montesinos, General Director of Youth and Sports, Antonio Peñalver Asensio and the president of the Wrestling Federation and Associated Disciplines Murcia, Jose Maria Lopez Gullón presented this morning the First International Wrestling Tournament Olympic to be held on 16 and 17 May in Los Alcázares.
Facilities at the High Performance Center will host 400 athletes from 12 countries that this tournament will be played in the junior and cadet categories in the different forms of struggle Grecorroma, Olympic and Free Women's Free.
Gullón Lopez stressed that "these days we will have athletes in Los Alcázares participate in the European Games or the next Olympic Games in Rio"
The General Director of Youth and Sports explained that "this is a very important milestone, as once the end of the tournament, will begin training camp," he said.
For its part, Montesinos said that "the CAR has gained status as an international training center."
The mayor of Sports has reiterated its appreciation to both the Federation and the region "forever think of this town," he said
