The general director of Youth, Francisco Sanchez, and the mayor of Los Alcazares, Anastasio Bastida, inaugurated this morning the second edition of the event of alternative culture 'Summer Freak', which meet during this weekend to hundreds of young people on the grounds of marmenorense sports center of town.
In this edition, the event organizers have doubled the number of activities compared to last year and will be a hundred that will take place today and tomorrow between workshops, exhibitions, lectures, meetings with authors of illustrations, comics and manga, as well like music, video-games, contests and tournaments, among others.
The general director of Youth said "such events contribute to the development of cultural and artistic concerns of young people, as happened in the first edition of the festival 'Summer Freak', which included 4,000 participants of the region and other provinces ".
Like last year, the organization has set up a camping area and a dozen other places in which several publishing houses and shops display the latest developments of alternative culture.
There will also be a dozen workshops provide attendees tools to develop their creativity in Model Making,
talks about movies, TV series or 3D printing;
or meetings with authors like Alicia Francisco illustrator, cartoonist Pedro Delgado, who held a master class on creating characters, or Lehanan artist Aida Murcia.
