This Friday begins the fourth edition of the series of lectures on cultural, natural and historical heritage organized by the association Los Alcázares Ecocultural and has the support of the City of Los Alcazares and the University of Murcia.
On this occasion Javier Sanchez Lladó, Air Force Colonel and aeronautical research, will talk about the choice of Los Alcázares as first hydro aerodrome of Spain, its adoption as a model for many other airports in the country, relations between the aeronautical naval and military, and the links between the region of the Mar Menor and the important naval base of Cartagena in the first third of the twentieth century.
Special attention deserve the critical years of 1929 and 1931.
The talk will take place on Friday September 18 at the Plenary Hall of the City of Los Alcazares at 20.30.
Admission will be free until all seats.
