Already a tradition, the last days of October or early November bring to our region the best national athletes in the junior category.
It has also happened this year as well, with the Junior Campus XIV held at the Center for Sports Modernization "Infanta Cristina" in Los Alcázares, from Thursday until Sunday November 1st.
The event organized by the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation, developed the National Program of Sports Modernization convened by the Higher Sports Council (CSD), has the main premise of collaborating in the correct preparation of athletes shortlisted for the 16th World Championship Junior, a contest in Kazan (Russia) from 19 to 24 July 2016. Among other activities, global technical meetings, balneotherapy, water sports and adventure sports games are held.
Our region will have broad representation, going between the coaches responsible for the concentration up Jose Antonio Carrillo and Joaquin Martinez in combined events.
Among the invited athletes include athletes UCAM Athleo Cieza Manuel Bermudez and Irene Vazquez underway, with the athlete CA Murcia Tovarsport Ivan Lopez among the reserves in that discipline.
For its part, the Youth Athlete Athletic Elche Yolanda Perez is selected in combined events, while Fernando Virgilio Martinez of Athletic Cehegín, shown as a reserve athlete in speed.
