The Minister of Public Works and Infrastructures, Francisco Barnabas, visited the Club Nautico Mar Menor Los Alcazares today and said that improvements in its facilities, especially the recent adaptation of the Sailing School, "enable the development of the sector and contribute to increase activity and increase the nautical excellence of the Region of Murcia ".
The Minister, accompanied by the club president, Damian Martinez, mayor of Los Alcazares, Anastasio Bastida, toured the Club, the Sailing School and other spaces for this sport environment to check its performance, allowing host competitions national level involving a large number of boats.
In particular, the infrastructure has been the scene of the XI Regatta to benefit the Association for the Treatment of Persons with Cerebral Palsy and Related Pathologies (Astrapace), where more than 150 boats participated, and the Autonomous Puntuable Trophy (TAP) 'Optimist ', which he had 130 vessels in the region and Alicante.

The club has a sport dock with 279 moorings, has lighting systems with LED energy saving, surveillance cameras and soon a step detection device is installed in the harbor entrance in order to improve the safety of installations .
