The Minister of Tourism and Consumer Affairs, Jose Pablo Ruiz Abellán, attended today, along with the mayor of Los Alcazares, Encarnación Gil, and the Councillor for Tourism, Education and Culture of the town, Isabel Montesinos, the flag-raising ceremony 'Q ', awarded to the municipality of Los Alcazares by the Institute for Quality Tourism in Spain (ICTE)
'The Narejos', 'Las Palmeras', 'The Mirror', 'Manzano', 'Carrion' and 'La Concha' are the six beaches that have made this year to renew the "Q" Quality and becomes Los Alcazares the municipality of Spain with the greatest number of beaches certified with the seal of quality.
Quality technicians have been working almost a year on these shores to obtain and maintain this seal of quality, thus ensuring the users who visit both the cleaning and maintenance of its facilities, accessibility to the beach and a quality service visitors, by the agents and companies involved and offer some service around beaches.
Increasingly, public institutions that offer a quality service in all facilities.
In the Region of Murcia are 9 of the 72 beaches certified with the "Q" Quality Tourism in Spain, representing 12 percent of total certified beaches.
