With over a decade of tradition, returns again this summer concert series organized by the Directorate General for Cultural Promotion and the Department of Culture of the City of Los Alcazares, which includes eight concerts for all tastes.
In the secular context of the courtyard of the hotel-spa La Encarnación (Los Alcazares), re-appointment to eight clusters of diverse cultures ranging from an evening of poetry, a piano recital or chamber music to different sets jam session, a percussion ensemble or a band of bagpipes.
This year the festival begins on 10 July with a spectacular concert by KALIMBA PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE, a group of eleven drummers, as did another time, promise an evening of more rhythmic.
On Thursday 17, the quartet offers a refreshing JAZZ INTO based session fussion music, swing, latin-jazz and blues with works by Luis Salinas, Mike Stern, Dizzy Gillespie, Billy Cobham and Alain Caron.
The following Thursday, July 24, the renowned soprano Gloria Sanchez, accompanied on piano by the Austrian-Korean pianist Husan Park, will give a recital lyrical with a varied repertoire of opera, operetta and songs.
The month concludes with a concert by the CARTAGENA CHAMBER ORCHESTRA, directed by Brian Webber UK, and an interesting program of works by Warlok, Gershwin, Dvorak and Respighi.
In August, Thursday 7, a nice concert by two young virtuoso, it's about girls ANDREA ANGELES ZAMORA and MARIA AYALA that his eleven-year-old is already winning numerous first prizes in national piano competitions.
They will be responsible for offering a bold program of works by Bach, Mendelssohn, Liszt, Falla and Albéniz, among other composers.
On day 14, a new chamber music concert by the ENSEMBLE OF TEACHERS of the International Music Cieza with a varied repertoire ranging from Baroque to Romanticism in various instrumental combinations.
August 21 will be the turn of the leading string quartet "Saravasti" whose program includes works by Haydn (The fifth) and Dvorak (American), and the quartet version of the Suite Murcia issues of Benito Lauret.
Finally, on August 28, the cycle ends with a lively traditional Celtic music session by the pipe band "FRAY PEDRO SOLER" de Lorca, directed by Juan Tomás Soriano.
All concerts are beginning at 8 pm and the entrance to the exhibition is free, first-served basis.
