The marine resort Mar Menor, with the collaboration of the Sailing Federation of the Region of Murcia, Murcia Tourism, the City of Los Alcazares and the issue of Wind Surfing 'have organized the XI edition of the' Mar Menor Surfari ', bringing together 11 and October 12 to over 200 sailors in the Playa del Espejo.

This is a test of acceptance in the national scene for lovers of windsurfing, kitesurfing and Mar Menor so every fall they return to enjoy the best position to have fun with their favorite sports.

The superb weather conditions for surfing all year round, make the whole industry and the best Spanish windsurfers come to this event to compete and show premieres the 2008 model year.

We distinguish two forms in the event: Concentration Open to all who have a candle and a table (no need to be federated), and Formula Windsurfing, for those who are federal.

The Kite Race II, following the success of the first edition last year, also continues his official competition within the Surfari.

Organized by SG Diffusion and Naish, testing is the first Kite Racing Challenge of the 2008-2009 season.

In all classes there will be significant cash prizes, although the Surfari is a meeting where the prevailing enjoy a weekend of living with a variety of activities related to sports and the Mar Menor.

This contributes to the fact that this event coincides with numerous music concerts, free water baptisms, drawings and material with the Feasts of the Cauldron of Los Alcazares.

Many participants have gone to all editions of Surfari from virtually all communities and other parts of the world, and world champions and pre-Olympic champions Spain, who attended the event despite his many official engagements.
