Ricardo Burguete was aviator and head of the School of Air Combat and bombing of Los Alcazares (better known as the airbase) from May 1931 to May 1933.
Was honored with the Cross of San Fernando, the highest military award, for his part in the War of Africa.
Burguete died very young in 1933, due to the human spirit and military, the War Department of the Government of the Republic proclaimed by decree of January 29, 1934, the base aera be named Los Alcazares Burguete Aerodrome.
