HE UPyD claims.
Town Hall Los Alcazares replenishment containers solid waste collection to places traditionally used for that purpose, to prevent litter from accumulating on sidewalks and streets of the town.
The concessionaire of the Municipal Service Garbage Collection is carrying out the change and replacement of old trash collection bins for new ones, the latter, with better systems of openness, security and hygiene.
They have the advantage of facilitating the collection of waste and reduce personnel costs for the concessionaire, but the disadvantage of being aligned with the truck.
This situation resulted in the restructuring of waste collection rounds by the concessionaire, which supposedly changed at his pleasure and profit, these routes (not think that has been authorized by the municipal government to be offset outstanding debt the consistory to the concessionaire).
UPyD address the lack of transparency and communication from the company awarded the Municipal Service Garbage Collection and the government team, believes that the company has not only reduced the number of stops, but also the number of containers, causing dysfunction on the quality of garbage collection service in the municipality.
With this scenario, it is expected that our city looks clean, as any citizen who leaves home with his bag of trash to where it was traditionally used to deposit the not seeing her again

With the new layout, we have an untenable situation from the point of view of hygiene and an unfortunate scenario for the image of a tourist town like ours, especially when previously the largest number of garbage collection points, in the summer seasons, were necessary a greater number of containers, taking into account that the containers once filled, overflowing and garbage piled up next to them on streets and sidewalks by the increase in population.
Unión Progreso y Democracia believes that it is not merely public awareness, but to maintain or enhance it, the quality of service provided, therefore, we wish to amend and renew the container in Los Alcazares but decrease in number of collection points trash or the number of containers.
We believe that any changes should aim to improve municipal service quality and consequently the quality of life for our neighbors, never in favor of the contractor's service at the expense and detriment of the quality of service.
For all the above Unión Progreso y Democracia has asked the municipal government through general registration, replacement of containers solid waste collection to places traditionally used by adapting the locations to the new containers, new refuse collection vehicles and maintaining quality of service provided to such changes.
