The general director of Sports, Antonio Peñalver, today introduced the second edition of the Triathlon and Los Alcazares-IV Trophy Cup Cycling Spain, two events that meet on 13 and 14 June in the town of Los Alcazares, 660 Athletes from all over Spain, and his companions.
A sports weekend, said Peñalver, "discover the whole of Spain the enormous potential of this area for the conduct of events in this category."
On Saturday June 13 will be held the second edition of Triathlon, which has become the single played in the Region of Murcia as an Olympian by distances that are made in the tests.
In the previous edition of 120 athletes participated, a figure that has risen this year to 260 participants from 53 clubs in Spain.
Testing will begin at 16:30 pm leaving from the beach of La Concha, after which there will be a journey of 1,500 meter swim, a 40 kilometer bike and finish with a 10-kilometer race along the promenade.
The awards ceremony is scheduled at 20:00 hours at the Club Nautico Mar Menor.
Sunday June 14 the IV Trophy is contested Los Alcazares, go for the Cup Cycling Spain in the categories of senior and master 30, 40, 50 and 60, which will include the involvement of 400 runners.
The start and finish will be located on Avenida 13 October.
Begin at 9:00 pm in the Masters categories 40, 50 and 60, and will travel a distance of 78.2 kilometers.
For its part, the evidence of senior and master category 30 will depart at 12:00 pm and they made a tour of 87.9 miles.
