A total of 33 artisans from the region participating in the 'VIII Crafts Festival of Los Alcazares' organized by the Ministry of Universities and Research Company, through the Directorate General of Trade and Crafts.
The show is framed in the celebrations of the Week Huerta and Mar in the municipality marmenorense and, as on previous occasions, will be located in the La Rambla between 14 and 22 August, in time 20.00 to 24.00.
The strong representation of artists "making it one of the most anticipated events of summer in this town, as the success of previous editions," according to the director general of Trade and Crafts, Julio José Lorenzo.
In the 'Craft Show', the visitor can sample delicious cheese makers, confectioners, the pork-butchers, canners and beekeepers in the region, while acquiring the latest creations of craftsmen potters, leather workers, sailors knots processors, metalisteros, binders, costumes tailors, makers of paper and cardboard, JEWELERS, rugs weavers, painters, silversmiths, lacemakers, toys, makers of natural cosmetics, glass and Bethlehem.
Two exhibition areas
More attractive to the visitor is shown divided into two specialized areas, one dedicated exclusively to power the craft at the bottom of the Rambla, and another where they will locate the craft and gift accessories.
This initiative is included in the line of action developed by the Ministry to promote regional handicrafts "giving maximum publicity and making available to the craftsmen all the necessary tools to grow professionally and do their business becoming stronger and more competitive adapting to market needs and an increasingly demanding public, "said Lorenzo.
Also, the sample providing more attractive to the week of the Huerta and the Sea of Los Alcazares and contributes to the revitalization of retail and hospitality industry of the municipality.
